UNICAMP has an Institutional Policy on Best Practices and Integrity in Research, whose executive body is the Integrity Commission
in Research (CIP).

The CIP is responsible for welcoming, evaluating and forwarding suspected cases of misconduct or malpractice in scientific research carried out at UNICAMP and by its members.

The University also has several Committees and Commissions that monitor various aspects of research, including Genetic Heritage, research with animals, and ethics in research with human beings.
