Graduated in Chemical Engineering from UFRJ (1993), Master and PhD in Chemical Engineering from COPPE/UFRJ (1996 e 1998). She is currently a Full Professor at the Faculty of Chemical Engineering at Unicamp, working mainly in the area of obtaining bioproducts and biofuels from renewable sources. Among his main research areas are bioprocess modeling and optimization, first and second generation ethanol production, with an emphasis on pre-treatment technologies, enzymatic hydrolysis and fermentation, as well as the production of bioproducts from renewable sources within the concept of biorefinery. She was a doctoral thesis advisor who received the Capes Thesis Award 2011 in the Engineering Area II and the Capes Thesis Grand Prize 2011 in the Area of Engineering and Exact and Earth Sciences. received in 2017 the Zeferino Vaz Recognition Award.

Prof.. Dr. Dirceu Noriler holds a degree in Chemical Engineering (2000) by the Regional University of Blumenau – FURB, and has a master's degree (2003) and doctorate (2007) in Chemical Engineering from the State University of Campinas – UNICAMP. Sávio Souza Venâncio Vianna holds a PhD in Engineering from Cambridge University (2010) and master's (2004) in Engineering by COPPE – Federal University of Rio de Janeiro in optimization applied to CFD and graduation in Chemical Engineering (2000) by the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. He was a researcher at Cambridge University in the Energy division, Fluids and Turbomachines, conducting research focused on computational modeling of reactive fluid flow in an offshore environment with an emphasis on pre-mixed combustion, particularly in modeling accidental explosion scenarios.. During the post-doctoral period, he worked on computer modeling of accidental scenarios in academia (Cambridge University) and in the industry (Deu Norske Veritas). In the latter, he was responsible for research projects and technical consultancy in the United Kingdom, France, Italy and Norway.
